Better Business Bureau 
WP Diamonds and White Pine Trading have received full accreditation from the Better Business Bureau of the US. If a business has been accredited by the BBB, it means BBB has determined that the business meets accreditation standards which include a commitment to make a good faith effort to resolve any consumer complaints.BBB Code of Business Practices represents standards for business accreditation by BBB. Businesses based in the United States and Canada that meet these standards and complete all application procedures will be accredited by BBB. American Gem Society
The American Gem Society was founded in 1934 by a small group of leading jewelers to help protect the public from fraud and false advertising when buying jewelry. With approximately 3,400 jewelers, retailers, suppliers and affiliates, the AGS continues to support consumer protection, ethical business practices and the maintenance of superior gemological skills. The Jewelers Board of Trade
The Jewelers Board of Trade looks after the welfare of its members and the jewelry industry, it provides specific industry credit information, collections and also marketing services. The JBT is active in industry events and offers programs of education on relevant industry themes. View the The JBT site.
Jewelers Vigilance Committee
Jewelers Vigilance Committee (JVC), is the sole legal compliance expert in the jewelry industry; established 1917 to educate and protect all levels of the jewelry industry against liability, litigation and to stop negative publicity. JVC is an expert and authority on legal compliance and leads the fight on integrity. JVC provided information to the trade to comprehend complex regulatory and compliance rules governing all phases of manufacturing, stamping, marketing and sale of fine jewelry. It helps to ensure that the jewelry marketplace becomes a more profitable and safer place for everyone. View the JVC site.
National Pawnbrokers Association (USA)
Based in Keller, Texas, the National Pawnbrokers Association (NPA) supports a large and growing network of responsible pawnbrokers in the United States. It was founded in 1988 and is the only national association of its kind. It specializes in providing guidance and specific compliance training related to local, state and federal laws.View the The National Pawnbrokers site.
National Pawnbrokers Association (UK)
The NPA is the trade organisation for Britain’s pawnbroking industry and now has a membership covering over 1,800 outlets and has been in existence for more than 120 years. Its safeguards the interests of pawnbrokers and customers alike, producing an operations manual and laying down a code of conduct for members. The association provides members with general advice, from legal to marketing to security to insurance and deals with thousands of different membership queries each year. The NPA in the UK has close links with bodies such as Department for Business Innovation and Skills, the Office of Fair Trading, Trading Standards Departments, Financial Ombudsman and Police Constabularies throughout the country.
